1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VanFlexa platform operated by VanFlexa Ltd ("we", "us"). By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Service

VanFlexa is a marketplace connecting customers who need items moved with independent van drivers ("Supply Partners"). We provide the technology platform — we are not a moving company and do not employ drivers directly.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

4. Bookings & Payments

• Quotes are valid for 15 minutes from the time of calculation
• Payment is required at the time of booking via our secure payment processor (Stripe)
• The quoted price is final — no additional charges will be added unless you modify the booking
• All prices include VAT where applicable

5. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time
• Cancellations within 24–48 hours: 25% of the booking value
• Cancellations within 12–24 hours: 50% of the booking value
• Cancellations within 12 hours or no-show: 100% of the booking value

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

6. Your Responsibilities

• Ensure items are properly packed and ready for collection at the agreed time
• Provide accurate postcodes and access information
• Be present (or have a representative present) at both pickup and delivery locations
• Inform us of any restricted or prohibited items
• Do not transport illegal, hazardous, or prohibited goods

7. Prohibited Items

The following may not be transported via our platform:

• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Firearms or weapons
• Explosives or flammable materials
• Live animals
• Perishable goods (unless agreed in advance)
• Cash or negotiable instruments exceeding £500

8. Liability

• Supply Partners carry goods-in-transit insurance
• Claims for damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
• Our liability is limited to the value declared at booking or £1,000 per booking, whichever is lower
• We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control

9. Supply Partners

Supply Partners (drivers) are independent contractors, not employees. They agree to separate Supply Partner Terms governing their use of the platform, including requirements for insurance, licencing, and conduct.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and technology on our platform are owned by VanFlexa Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
